Sunday Mornings

Sunday Services

Our Sunday service is at 11am in the church. Wheelchair access is via either of the entrances on First Avenue which lead to an elevator. We have a small car park and there is free parking on the surrounding roads. On arrival there is a welcome team who will help you find a seat.

During the morning worship the children and young people up to the age of 18 leave to join their groups in Junior Church. A crèche is available, with video facility for watching to the service, as a parent must accompany their child.

We celebrate Communion every first Sunday morning. Refreshments follow the morning service down in the hall (which is wheelchair accessible via the elevator); a lovely time to catch up with old friends and make new ones.

Worship at HBC seeks to embrace the best of new and more traditional worship music; it aims to glorify God by being welcoming, accessible, interactive, Bible-based and Spirit-filled.

We are now providing live translations in the church, during our Sunday morning services. This can help you to worship with us and access the service in languages other than English, on your mobile phone or tablet. If you would like to make use of this facility please scan the QR code as you enter the church and input the Conversation Code that will be available from the AV desk.

Everyone is warmly welcomed to attend! Visit our YouTube channel to watch a service.

Sunday Prayer

Prayer is a central feature of our life together, and as well as our regular services and home groups, we meet for prayer every Sunday morning from 10.00am to 10.30am over Zoom (please get in touch for the link).

From 10.00am to 10.45am there is a course for new believers or those who want to know more about the Christian faith. This is run as needed so if you're interested, please speak to one of the ushers when you visit.
